In 2013, nine young women, navigating a new phase of life where community connections were becoming harder to maintain, found themselves juggling work, family, and the fading routines of university and youth group. Yet, they all shared a love for basketball. Seeking a way to stay connected and continue their faith journey together, they formed a team.

They named it "Embers," inspired by the idea of being "little embers in an often darkened world."

What began as a small, simple idea has since grown into a vibrant community. Embers Basketball now unites people, who support, encourage, and challenge each other, both on and off the court.
